Radical Film

Dear Player, here we are with our haut insider culture picks, an interview with Dr. Joe Strickland about his immersive, improvised show All Falls Down at the Vault Festival, and some rather charming ticket competitions. Yes, we're talking seeing Saim Sadiq's film Joyland at the BFI Southbank, or for the voyeuristic among you, we have tickets for the Torture Garden valentine ball at Electrowerks.

Our Guest Editor this week is Philip Ilson, Artistic Director of the London Short Film Festival (20-29 Jan).

Taking place every January, LSFF has earned cult status among film lovers and makers - and this year marks its 20 year anniversary. The festival has grown from an edgy grassroots, DIY series of events to an international platform championing emerging and established talent.

In Philip's Run Riot Interview with writer Katie Hogan, they underline the creative brilliance of collaborating with London's radical film collectives, musicians, artists, and independent film makers to make what has to be one of London's best film festivals. We highly recommend you dive in, explore and devour!

Well, dear player, engage how you can, and enjoy yourself! We'll write again soon. Bottoms up! RR x
