#PhysicalStoryTellers

Kicking off 2020 we welcome back our Guest Editors, the legends Joseph Seelig and Helen Lannaghan, co-Directors of the London International Mime Festival (LIMF).

Now in its 44th year, the 2020 edition sees 10 overseas companies and 8 British groups complete 'the best yet' line-up.

We're told to 'forget the clichés'. Think less Marcel Marceau, more #PhysicalStoryTellers. In fact, for those looking to peep behind the scenes you'll enjoy these articles from Told by an Idiot, The PappyShow and a few other companies from this years festival.

Run-Riot spoke with LIMF festival Directors Helen and Joseph to ask for their personal highlights and to unpack what's going on from 8 Jan - 2 Feb at Barbican, Jacksons Lane, Sadler’s Wells, Shoreditch Town Hall, Soho Theatre and Wilton’s Music Hall. Read the interview with Jayson Mansaray here.

In our Magazine section we speak to climate activist and actor Tamsin Omond who brings us up to speed with the Extinction Rebellion movement, tells us about hanging out with Greta Thunberg, and how hope and kindness is at the heart of their show, This Bitch Can Heal (Vault Festival, 28-30 Jan).
