Old Wow

Our Guest Editor this week is Sam Lee, the Mercury Prize nominated folk singer, conservationist, song collector, award winning promoter, broadcaster and activist.

On Friday 31st January Sam will release seeds of love across The Garden of England and beyond in the form of his next album, charmingly titled Old Wow.

True to form the album exudes rousing and sensual songs of love, connectivity as well as being a celebration of the natural world. Ahead of the album release and his next London concert at EartH (17 Feb) Sam speaks with writer Adam Bloodworth about his collaborations with Bernard Butler (Suede, MacAlmont & Butler) and Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins); and of course the anecdotes behind the making of the album, that title (wow!) and the abundant joys of nature.
