#Monuments

Our Guest Editor this week is former bricklayer turned artist Frank Laws whose exhibition Monuments is now showing at Sir John Hegarty's The Smallest Gallery In Soho, curated by Philip Levine and Andreia Costa.

In Franks Run-Riot Interview he talks with writer Kerenza Evans about his love of architecture, in particular the social housing of London's east end. Monuments is a tributary celebration of such buildings, enticing a form of worship through a film noir lens, delivered with atmospheric watercolour. Next time you pass the gallery on 62 Dean Street pause and soak up the view. Read the interview here.

In our Magazine section Christopher Green - the man behind Ida Barr and Tina C chats about his upcoming gig - a performance that has been in the making for over two decades. 'No Show' will be staged at The Yard from 24 February!

Invisible Dust commissioned environmental artist Estabrak talks to Run-Riot about her latest photographic installation. Meanwhile, writer Lily Bevan explores the effects of climate change from Florida to the Yorkshire Dales as part of her production at the Vault Festival.

Killing It is the latest theatre show from writer Josephine Starte, a production which discusses how three generations go woman deal with grief. Read about it here and see it at the Vault Festival.
