L’impresario!

'I need to be in a state of seduction to work with someone.'

Our Guest Editor this week is the charismatic Impresario, Franck Bordese. Having worked in London and New York with a portfolio of innovative arts organisations - he now heads to The British Museum.

Franck's latest project moves alongside the exhibition 'Rodin and the art of ancient Greece', in partnership with the London-wide contemporary performance art festival, Block Universe.

In his Run Riot interview, Franck chats with curator and Frith Street Gallery Director Dr. Ali MacGilp. They speak-up about performance and art today, his forthcoming project with artist Laura Wilson, and what it means to be an Impresario.

In our Magazine section we continue with Block Universe, welcoming the festival founding Director, Louise O'Kelly who writes 'on being together in difficult times: why performance art matters now'. A resilient and upbeat view on todays culture.

Australian artist Giselle Stanborough tells us about her work, Lozein: Find the lover you deserve - taking the form of a comedic TED-style talk at 180 The Strand (Block Universe).

Katharina Worf, Special Projects Curator of Block Universe introduces us to artist Hanne Lippard ahead of her work at Somerset House. Expect seductive wordplay at it's finest.
