#Convergence

It's a given that - if done right - the power of collaboration can be the most beautiful thing. This is exactly what Convergence, the London festival for Music + Art + Technology embraces 100% with great success. Just take a look at this years participants - John Cage, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Simian Mobile Disco, Deep Throat Choir, London Contemporary Orchestra - to name a few.

The man leading the way is Artistic Director Glenn Max - our Guest Editor. He invests blood, sweat and tears in his work. Who reap the rewards? The audience do. What a gift. Enjoy! Read Glenn's Run Riot interview here.

In our Magazine section ballsy CEO of the Music Venue Trust, Mark Davyd, talks to Glenn Max about the state of grassroots music venues - taking a look at Europe for solutions. The London based Italian photographer Antonio Pagano shows his work from past Convergence festivals.

Choreographers Rudi Cole and Júlia Robert Parés write about their companies work - Humanhood, bringing the world of physics and Eastern mysticism into the exploration of the body and movement - ahead of their Wild Card event at Sadler's Wells (24 and 25 May).
