Borderless Spaces

Our Guest Editor's this week are curators Alessandra Cianetti and Xavier de Sousa. Together they're running a project that intervenes on the very notion of the border - through the lens of the creative eye. It's a subject of great interest to people from across the globe. Being Refugee Week (17-23 June) amidst such a weak and unstable political environment, their event with artists, 'thinkers' and 'doers' this Saturday couldn't be more relevant.

Having worked on a series of pilot events across England and in Nogales, Arizona (US/Mexico border), Alessandra and Xavier conclude their project - Curating Borderless Spaces - with a day of performance, talks, food and provocations on Saturday 22 June at the Live Art Development Agency, Bethnal Green.

Writer Season Butler interviews Alessandra and Xavier about the possibilities of their project, and placing care (aka giving a shit) at the centre of their work.
