We doff our cap to the V&A for their well planned and curated exhibition Disobedient Objects which opens this week - and runs all the way until 1 Feb 2015. How very wonderful and helpful. We wish it huge success!

What can we expect to see? We're told 'From Suffragette teapots to protest robots, this exhibition will be the first to examine the powerful role of objects in movements for social change. It will demonstrate how political activism drives a wealth of design ingenuity and collective creativity that defy standard definitions of art and design.' Pleasured sigh. One is thrilled!

Our other highlights this week include Danny Boyle's Shuffle Festival taking place in the Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. The Photographer's Gallery present Dalston Anatomy by Lorenzo Vitturi - enjoy the vibrancy of Ridley Road Market. And we look foreword to the musical delights of The Wild Rye playing at The Good Ship. They're the link between Fleetwood Mac and Fleet Foxes - total charmers. Love 'em!
