Superstition presents an exceptional evening of heightened live experimental electronics from Anthony Child (aka Surgeon), Samuel Kerridge and Acolytes of Yama.

For this outing, the revered artist, Anthony Child will be playing a special live set at EartH using the venue’s world class L-ISA 360 sound technology for the very first time. It promises to be something altogether different from his work as Surgeon. Focusing on the development of timbre and texture, Child will be exploring his improvisatory sensibility and the potentials of modular synthesis in the resplendent eight hundred capacity art deco theatre supported by L-Acoustics breakthrough technology. If you've heard either of Child’s albums on Editions Mego, this is a rare opportunity to experience one of electronic music’s most versatile and in-demand trailblazers in a unique setting.

Joining Anthony Child on the lineup is Samuel Kerridge. The singular artist will be bringing his signature sonic arsenal to EartH with the intention of subjecting the listener to overwhelming waves of hyper-sensory stimulation, also perfectly aided by the L-ISA Sound System. This year Samuel released his critically acclaimed collaborative album with Taylor Burch (DVA Damas), ‘The Other’. This record featured Burch’s Bladerunner-esque vocal overlaying Samuel’s dystopian production.
This record has greatly influenced the live set that the artist will be sharing with us.

Acolytes of Yama join the line up, a new collaboration between the London based techno artist Flaminia and shamanic singer Benas Bar. During their live performances, the contrast between natural and organic sound given by field recording loops, singing bowls and gongs blends with industrial drum machines and synthesisers, creating a ritualistic space.
