Explore the area in-between Ólafur’s acoustic, piano-based solo work and Janus’s synth-heavy electro pop with their collaborative project Kiasmos, at Robert Smith's specially curated Concrete Lates.

Celebrate Robert Smith’s Meltdown with a specially curated Concrete Lates DJ set from Kiasmos.

After a long and exhausting day, you wish someone would tuck you in to bed and tell you a thrilling but also cosy story?

That’s how a Kiasmos DJ set works. It offers memories of wild and free minimal techno nights and 90s synth, as well as childhood bonfires in the countryside, making a sound that’s cosy but sexy, vibrant but soothing.

It carries light beats as well as unexpected compositions, organic structures and sound experiments involving various instruments, and even clicking fingers and mechanical clattering.

Kiasmos is made up of BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds, known for his mix of minimal piano and string compositions with electronic sounds, and Janus Rasmussen, of the electro-pop band Bloodgroup.

Concrete Lates is the new late-night electronic music series, bringing you underground sounds until the early hours.

Warming up the crowd before Kiasmos is London-based DJ, Dean Mir.
