The Make Me crew continue their series of heavy hitters with two of techno’s best (and weirdest) DJs.

While ‘avant-techno’ is a convenient term, it doesn’t give a full sense of the breadth of Donato Dozzy’s musical output. He’s done glacial ambient with Voices from the Lake, outright experimental on his brilliant reinterpretation of Bee Mask pieces on Plays Bee Mask, and has dabbled in folk on his Spectrum Spools release with Anna Caragnano. This wide-reaching aesthetic plays into his dancefloor productions and DJ sets, which are always groovily mind-boggling.

He finds a fitting partner in Peter van Hoesen, a similarly atypical techno artist, whose dark and bass-focused sets reveal a fascination with texture. Collaborating for a back-to-back hybrid set at this night, this promises to be discombobulating set.
