Following a planned blackout that sent social media wild with speculation, Fabric have broken their silence to launch a year-long flurry of special events & activities celebrating 20 years of Fabric.

From guest editor James Lavelle: "I have great memories of being one of the original residents at Fabric for the first five years. Looking forward to celebrating this milestone with them. How time passes!"

That's right! To mark their 20th anniversary, Fabric will be throwing together 20 parties in addition to their regular events, welcoming a melange of artists, including friends old and new.

The first phase saw Lee Burridge, Bonobo, Tale Of Us, FUSE, John Digweed and The Martinez Brothers returning to EC1 – with parties running across both days and nights, with every artist playing extended sets running for up to 10 hours. And for those wondering about their annual birthday weekender, this year the celebrations will span across every weekend in October. You can find tickets for all dates here.

Not only that, but Fabric have sharpened their focus on some good local talent too as Anna Wall and Bobby will be joining their founding residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis.

"Festivals!" I hear you shout. Fear not, as this summer, they'll be bringing back Fabric and FABRICLIVE to two major festivals for the first time. They will also be returning to Barcelona, (for those of you who are lucky enough to escape the drizzle) for OFF WEEK, teaming up with one of their most prized family members, Ricardo Villalobos.

This, dear friends, is only the start of what Fabric have planned for their 20th anniversary, so keep a close eye on what exciting things Fabric will conjure up.
