The Misty Moon International Film Festival is back again this Halloween, for another year of fantastic indie films and will be held on Saturday the 27th October at London's 'The Cinema Museum', a venue of significant cultural importance within England's capital city.

From Misty Moon International Film Festival:

We are looking for short films of all genres to be submitted, but as it is near Halloween and our judges are made up of actors and industry professionals from well know horror films we would appreciate a smattering of short horrors as well.

The evening will be hosted by legendary comedy duo Trevor Neal and Simon Hickson (Going Live!, Live and Kicking)

Celebrity judges include:
• Adrienne King - Actor (Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th Part 2)
• Emma Dark - Director/Actor (Salient Minus Ten, Seize the Night, Frankula)
• Judy Matheson - Actor (Twins of Evil, Lust for a Vampire, Crucible of Terror)
. Hattie Hayridge - Actor (Red Dwarf)
. Linda Hayden - Actor (Blood On Satan's Claw, Taste The Blood Of Dracula)

Awards and Prizes

There will be three awards, audience winner, judge's winner and a seperate award will be be revealing soon. Each of the winners will receive an engraved trophy.

Each of the finalists will get a chance to meet the judging panel on the night.

Last year our bonus award was the 'Peter Hawkins Vanguard Award - For Films That Push Creative and Social Boundaries', sponsored by our honorary patron and award-winning filmmaker Emma Dark. We will be revealing this year's unique award very soon!
