Hours: 3.5 days per week

Writing listings 10+ per week
Write 1+ Blog during month

Online Marketing / Social Media
Promoting RR content in a prolific manner via RR’s networks:

Facebook

WHAT YOU'LL GET
You'll be able to attend a selection of events, Private Views, Gigs and Concerts, Performances, Wild Cards and Thoughtful occasions. You'll have the chance to interview exciting artists and Creative Industry professionals - and take a glorious step towards arts media Nirvana.

We’ll contribute towards your weekly travel expenses and provide you with lunch.

You might have to make tea. You can't have everything.

SKILLS & TASKS TO BE LEARNED
to learn Run-Riot's CMS (Content Management System) in order to upload 10+ events a week
to learn to upload blogs with appropriate images
to source imagery and events
learn to curate our various social media profiles via Hootsuite (Facebook, twitter etc)
learn to seed content on aggregator sites (delicious, reddit)

THINGS YOU WILL NEED
Your own laptop
Image editing software, such as Photoshop or an understanding of the online photo edit suite ...
a sense of the bohemian spirit

MOBILE WORK LOCATION
You will work with the team from various locations, mostly in east London.

GETTING INVOLVED
You join us at an exciting time at RR! We are present on the web as never before and our growing team is moving forward into a bold new phase. We need YOU to come along and learn what we do day-to-day and gain the skills you'll need to run some of the site's basic tasks. Yes that's right we're moving towards having a neat redesign and we need a few hands at the pump to give us the resources we need to pull it all off.

You'll learn about event uploading, blogging, CMS and how we run our weekly e-bulletin. Rest assured dear intern you will learn a lot about the London creatives scene, digital PR plus all the trimmings like how we seed our content with social media. This will be a fun, fast paced month with a lot of contact with the site and its duties.
