Key responsibilities:

The Producer is responsible for the planning and coordination of the artistic programme including both produced and touring work. Directly responsible for developing relationships with theatres, programmes and promoters in London, nationally and sometimes internationally, to ensure a sustainable creative future for the company. Responsible for overseeing individual projects for the Programme Team and Member related work, ensuring all artistic work is produced to the highest quality possible.

Artistic Programme:

Develop contacts with venues, artists, producers, promoters and other collaborators to enrich Cardboard Citizens’ producing and presenting work.

Research and develop the current and future artistic programme and individual productions, including proposed scheduling and feasibility reports.

Provide a positive, supportive and efficient service to all artists/companies/freelancers.

Maintain good liaison and effective communication on the development of the artistic programme.

Oversee the production of detailed and accurate show information for the organisation.

Develop and produce in-house productions/Co productions and commissions.
