Noblesse Oblige re-release debut album with 40mins of additional material

RepoRecords are re-releasing our debut album Privilege Entails Responsibility, which has been unavailable on CD since shortly after its inital release in 2006 - until now!

The re-release comes with 40 minutes of bonus material, including two cover versions - of Stephanie de Monaco's 80's hit "Ouragan" (engl. "Irresistible") and The Animals' 60s classic "When I was Young". Both songs are featured in Edwin Brienen 's latest movie "L'Amour Toujours" (to be released on DVD in 2010), in which we also appear next to Austria's cult actor Erwin Leder. You can watch two scenes of the movie in which we perform the two songs on the Noblesse Oblige Youtube Channel: ... .

The CD also contains 8 remixes from our friends and colleagues: Greek producer AVIUS: ... has turned "Daddy (Don't Touch Me There)" into a fat, pumpy electro smasher. Detlef Weinrich aka Toulouse Low Trax: ... (of Düsseldorf electronic-kraut legends Kreidler: ... who are about to release their amazing new album Mosaik 2014) has treated "Lil' Dirty" with his brilliant trademark funky percussive elements and strange electronics, while Musiccargo: ... - also from Düsseldorf, and like Toulouse Low Trax signed to the excellent Amontillado Music: ... label - turned the "Night Train To Krakow" into a throbbing Trans Europe Express to the zone. The wonderful grande dame of beauty and violence Mona Mur: ... and industrial godfather in the flesh En Esch: ... (Slick Idiot, KMFDM), who have collaborated on a recently released album on our favourite Berliner Steve Morell: ... 's label Pale Music Int: ... have done what they do best to "the Daddy" and "the Bitch" respectively and France's techno pioneer Laurent Ho: ... has simply raped the latter, singing along while doing so. Finally, we have also included the two only remixes of songs from our second album In Exile: Yours truly have remixed our last single "Tanz, Mephisto!" and last but certainly not least, the album is rounded off by our favourite remix so far: Berlin music legend Mark Reeder: ... 's Shot at Dawn remix of "Duel", whose fantastic dancefloor production and string arrangements leave us craving for his album collaboration with Blank & Jones, out now!

We encourage you to check out these artist's work and we would like to thank them for contributing their remixes to this album!
