The 60th BFI London Film Festival is seeking to fill the following position in its Cinemas department. The Screenings Coordination Assistant will support the Screenings Coordination team in delivering the BFI London Film Festival programme.

The ideal candidate will ensure that films will be screened in the right format, at the right time, in the right venue and will liaise with film-makers, producers regarding the screenings of their films. You will also assist with the transportation of films and videos and accompanying paperwork for the LFF programme; collaborating with BFI Despatch and national and international couriers.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with working experience within film festivals or the film sector. You will also have technical knowledge of films formats and experience in print movement.

The role will require some flexibility with regard to working hours (maybe a requirement to work outside contracted hours including some evenings and week-ends by prior arrangement).

Please note applicants must be available to start the week of 22 August 2016.

This post will be based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo).

The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 12th June 2016.
