The RSA are looking for a Senior Producer to join their fast-paced and ambitious public events team to provide 12 months fixed-term career break cover.

The Public Events Programme is a powerful public resource, bringing important social, cultural, political and economic issues to a global audience, attracting world-class speakers and facilitating debate on the most urgent challenges facing society. 
 
This is a key role within the team, working closely with the Heads of Events to shape and deliver the programme.

What the role involves:
This role has responsibility for developing and delivering a wide range of live events, as well as researching and commissioning innovative new content, formats and partnerships to engage the public in the world of ideas. 

The RSA are looking for someone with senior-level experience of live events production, who is engaged in and excited by contemporary culture, current affairs and ideas.

You will have excellent writing, research and editorial skills as well as an eye for fresh developments in public engagement and the online ideas landscape, from video to podcasts to animations.

You will be a natural communicator and strong project manager, who can drive forward independent projects as well as working collaboratively as part of a busy team. You will have a keen interest in the aims and values of the RSA, and an ability to engage a broad public in the original research work across Creative Learning & Development, Public Services & Communities, and the Economy, Enterprise & Manufacturing.
