Job Opportunity: Marketing and Press Officer, The Print Room

Salary: Circa £18,000 

Location: The Print Room at the Coronet, Notting Hill, London 

Reports to: Artistic Director 

Key relationships: Board of Trustees, Producer, Press Agency and small internal team of 5. 

In the summer of 2014, the Print Room moved to the Coronet - a permanent home in the heart of Notting Hill. They are undertaking a multi-year renovation project that will result is a space with a large theatre/cinema, a smaller studio space, rehearsal space and a full restaurant/bar with smaller performance spaces. The move to a new permanent space and ambitions for growth in the coming years mean the Print Room are looking for a Marketing and Press Officer to support the communications and develop the brand of the organisation.

This is a new post for The Print Room with key responsibility for:

• Identifying and engaging audiences for the Print Room’s programme of theatre, dance, art and poetry.

• Maintaining existing relationships with audiences, members, other arts organisations, business, education / community groups, partner and funders.

• Developing and implementing strategies to attract new audiences, and build relationships within the borough of RBKC, the wider London community and nationwide.

• Working closely with the external PR representative to achieve wide coverage for the venue and productions in local and national press.
