Job Opportunity: Digital Content Co-Ordinator, Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Albert Hall is one of the world’s most iconic entertainment venues, with an unrivalled history of world-class artists and performances. It hosts over 390 events each year including rock, pop and classical music concerts, opera, ballet, circus, sport, award ceremonies, conferences and banquets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Content Co-ordinator to join a friendly Marketing and Digital team.

The Digital Content Co-ordinator will have responsibility for creating, publishing and storing existing content across the Hall’s multiple digital channels to achieve the Hall’s wider business objectives. The role will also assist with the commissioning, creation and monitoring of new digital content and provide input into a content plan to enable the Hall to engage and inspire new and existing audiences through digital channels, including the website, social media and on-site, and for supporting internal users of the Hall’s digital channels.

Key aspects of the role will include assisting with the creation of new digital content to ensure that the Hall’s digital channels offer an engaging experience for customers to drive revenue and positively promote the Hall’s key messages, to maintain the website and to support the Digital Manager in implementing new digital initiatives including website development.

Candidates will need excellent typing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail and consistency, especially when undertaking repetitive work, creativity and the ability to craft and edit content to run across multiple digital platforms. The successful candidate must be educated to a minimum of A-level standard.
