Conditions of work

• Full time permanent position
• Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience
• Hours of work: 9:30am – 5:45pm Monday to Friday.
• The period of notice is 2 months in writing
• Probation period: 6 months

Role

The AV Manager is responsible for the Audio Visual components of the Whitechapel Gallery’s public, film and events programmes including the operation and maintenance of all related equipment. The AV Manager is part of the Operations Team and is managed by the Head of Operations. The AV Manager is responsible for the technical delivery of the Whitechapel Gallery’s varied and high profile public events and film programmes. The AV Manager is also responsible for the preparation, co-ordination and delivery of AV and technical requirements in relation to internal events, corporate hires, special events (Film London Jarman Award, London Art Book Fair) and other revenue generating activities.
