Siobhan Davies Dance is an artist-led, contemporary arts organisation, founded and led by Siobhan Davies since 1988.  The company produces and tours the work of Siobhan Davies and other like-minded artists – commissioning new works and creating new partnerships to extend the possibilities for dance within the contemporary arts; it also offers a thought provoking programme of curated events, exhibitions and talks and enhances learning and engagement through participation and education projects.

Siobhan Davies Dance is seeking a freelance Dance Artist who would  become a regular contributor to the planning and delivery of their Primary programme, Experience it. This programme takes the themes and practices of the artistic programme and translates these creatively for primary school projects.

During this initial probationary period the Dance Artist will be introduced to the Experience It Primary programme to fully gain an understanding of the company’s methods and approaches.  The contract will provide training and development through one to one support with the current Dance Artist and team to allow the successful applicant to  support the delivery of a range of projects within the wider Primary programme.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable professional experience of working as both a dance artist and educator, knowledge of contemporary arts, particularly dance and choreography, and a good understanding of the primary school National Curriculum. They will be an excellent communicator with strong planning and project development skills.

The deadline for applications is Monday 9 February 2015 at 12noon.  Interviews, including an observed teaching session, will be held on Wednesday 4 March at Siobhan Davies Studios in London.

Communications Assistant

Paid Internship, Fixed Term – 6 months

Part Time - 20 hours per week - London Living Wage

Siobhan Davies Dance are offering a paid internship to an enthusiastic individual interested in pursuing a career in arts marketing, and specifically in the contemporary arts.  The Communications Assistant will become an active member of the administrative team, building significant marketing and communications experience across a range of projects and gain insight to the daily workings of a dynamic arts organisation.

The deadline for applications is Monday 16 February 2015 at 12noon.  Interviews will be held on Friday 27 February at Siobhan Davies Studios in London.
