Job: Marketing Manager - Events, Royal Academy of Arts

About this position
Public Engagement is one of five key pillars of the organisation, and consists of the Audience Insight, Marketing, Communications, Digital, and Visitor & Friends Experience teams. The department is responsible for engaging a wide range of audiences in the activities of the RA, driving attendance and reaching revenue goals, as well as building the RA brand and working with our colleagues to support the wider business goals of the RA.

As part of our Strategic Plan there is an increased focus on our diverse events programme which includes a range of courses, classes, lectures, Lates, Courtyard Cinema, family events, teacher sessions and other exciting programming. These have related targets with regards to income generation and audience development. An exciting new role has been created in the Marketing team to create and deliver campaigns to support these programme elements.

About you
You will have relevant experience running marketing campaigns in a performance-based organisation or adult education environment. A strong background in e-CRM is a must, as well as and an ability to juggle multiple, demanding projects.

You will need to be flexible, well organised and a strong team player, with exceptional stakeholder management skills. You must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and knowledge of the visual arts and enthusiasm for the work and objectives of the Royal Academy of Arts.
