The South London Gallery (SLG) is an internationally recognised centre for contemporary visual art with an award-winning education and outreach programme.

The gallery is embarking on a period of significant growth, including plans to open at the former Peckham Road Fire Station in 2018,  and is seeking a Development Manager to work with the Director, development team and development committee on a range of capital and revenue fundraising initiatives.  The Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining an overview of the organisation’s relationships with individual donors and corporate supporters and, along with the Director, take a proactive approach to maintaining relationships and securing additional funds.

The postholder will have a track record in securing and sustaining donations and / or sponsorship, bring excellent communication and event organisation skills, and an ability to build relationships with a range of donors in order to maximise fundraising opportunities for the gallery's revenue and capital projects.
