Job Description
The Crystal Maze is an immersive take on the hugely popular nineties television show of the same name, brought to life with ticket holders playing the Maze for themselves! Opening in March this year with glowing reviews we are now expanding our team, and as such are looking for a dynamic, motivated Deputy Manager to help the daily running of the Maze. At first you will be joining our two existing deputies on a part time basis with a view to increase hours over the coming months.

These are examples of your key responsibilities and is the minimum required of you in this role. This is by no means an exhaustive list and other tasks and duties may be required.

1. Managing all staff on site during you shift, ensuring they arrive on time and act in

accordance with their contract and workplace guidelines.

2. Responsible for open and lock up of the building at the beginning and

end of each day/shift.

3. Confirming at the beginning of the day that all staff are present, all

games, tech, FOH and bar aspects are functional and the experience is ready to begin.

4. Responsible for all operational aspects of the venue while working.

5. Assist the Front of House Manager/Supervisor with customer service issues when


7. Proactively lead on delegated area with rota’s and employment, as per General Manager’s direction

6. Troubleshooting problems as they arise.

7. Contacting suppliers to repair/replace items.

8. Assist the General Manager with their admin tasks as required.

9. Managing the evacuation of the venue in the event of an emergency.

10. Contacting emergency services in the event of an emergency.

11. Submit daily reports to the General Manager.
