Cure Studio design Architects website, Simon Dance Design

Our friends at Cure Studio have created another excellent website.

About Cure Studio
Founded by James Hurst, Cure Studio is a multidisciplinary design agency who work with clients to bring a fresh creative perspective married with solid commercial understanding. Their tools are images and words and the results are both functional and beautiful.

About the Project
From bespoke furniture created for photographer Richard Burbridge to stunning interventions in the built environment including the Louise Blouin Foundation (London) and the Mercado de Colon (Valencia); Simon Dance Design have an incredible eye and it has been an inspiring journey working with them on their new website.

After the rounds of credentials pitches in August (we were invited based on our Director; James Hurst’s work on the Antony Gormley site while leading the design team at Emak Mafu; now part of Amp London) we were selected to help the Simon Dance team through a creative process that allowed them to exert their high expectations and finish online.

Our solution (as usual) followed W3C guidelines, allows the Simon Dance team full control over their content; including various tiers of additional content for press and potential clients while looking (we hope) incredible.

The site has all sorts of fancy code thrown at it (try re-sizing your browser on the project pages or sorting through the various ‘recognition’ options) but our primary aim was to make the interaction as effortless and beautiful as any Simon Dance Design experience; with solid systems thinking to help the site showcase their work well into the future.
