Sponsorship Coordinator (Full-Time £6.25 per hour + commission. Start date: ASAP)
This position will focus primarily on identification and research of capital sponsors for the 2011 festival. The ideal candidate is a highly organised individual with a passion in the digital world (new technologies, arts, design, media, internet) with a keen interest in gaining hands-on experience in sponsorship, a strong background in customer-service, and the ability to multitask.

Skills Required:

Excellent English (mother tongue preferred).


Responsibilities:


• Provide support to manage sponsorships and partnerships with the 2011 Festival which will include: research, sponsor communications, creation of proposals and contracts, administration of department databases, and sponsor fulfillment and benefits distribution.


• Coordination and execution of sponsor-related deliverables (signage, sponsor samples, material….).


• Assist Sponsorship Manager during festival execution, including on-site coordination.


• Performing general administrative duties, such as preparing mailings, filing, and database maintenance.


• Support executive director in other activities as required.
• Experience: 1-2 years.

Research & Programme Assistant Internship 
(3-6 months, 2 days a week)
Alpha-ville is growing fast and is currently looking for a highly motivated Programme Assistant volunteer to support the Creative Director with the day to day delivery of the programme. The Programme Assistant will play a key role in coordinating, administering and delivering Alpha-vile 2011. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital arts, as well as good communication & presentation skills. Being able to commit to longer than three months would be an advantage.


Responsibilities include:


• Conduct research on artists, digital art related topics & funding opportunities


• Artists Liaison (prepare artists biographies, contracts, performance lists, etc) 
Create, maintain and update artists database.


• Assist with administrative tasks including processing invoices, data entry, photocopying, filing and correspondence
.

• Assist with the marketing and promotion of the programme
Coordinate with delivery partners and collaborators
.

• Write press releases
.

• Write for, update, and contribute to the festival social media sites (ie, Facebook, Twitter, Blog, etc)
.

• Assists with general festival activities including logistics, audience development and public relations.

• 
Plan events as necessary
Report directly to the Creative Director
Evaluation and creation of reports to outline and highlight key findings and developments.


Essential requirements:


Minimum duration of Internship 3 months
.

Fluent English is essential
.

Research experience
.

Interest in digital arts and new technologies
.

Experience of developing positive relationships with partners and external stakeholders
.

Experience of coordinating and managing events
.

Experience of using social media tools to promote and market projects
.

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own time and work to tight deadlines
