A Festive Five minutes with Bourgeois and Maurice

KA:When is it OK to put your Christmas tree up?And take it down?

B&M: A Christmas Tree is for life, not just for Christmas. Once you've got one nail it to the floor. We actually have a forest of decaying Norwegian Spruces in our living room and it's very homely.

KA:What's your earliest festive memory?

B&M:That John Lewis child abuse advert.

KA:We know you're always wearing threads by the best new designers- with knitwear making a big comeback in the fashion scene, who would you get to knit your Christmas jumper?

B&M:We used to have a sweatshop of grannies churning out knitted looks for us in the winter, but sadly we had to close it due to "technical issues". Now we like the work of recent Royal College of Art graduate Hannah Taylor.

KA:Who would you most like to hear put out a Christmas single?

B&M:Occupy London Stock Exchange.

KA:Whats the best Christmas present you've ever been given?

B&M: The 2 brand new iPad 2s that someone is buying us for this year. We don't know who they are yet but we think they're reading this! Thanks guys, we love you.

KA: And the worst?

B&M: Tickets to a Bourgeois & Maurice show. We went and nothing happened on stage, it was well boring.

KA:If you could create an annual national holiday, what would it celebrate?

B&M:The unknown people working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the world running smoothly- the reptilian illuminati. Happy Lizard Men Day!
