Anthony's gig recommendation blog!

Alright folks! Excuse me for being a total boob and missing the last two weeks on the gig guide, think its going to be a fairly irregular one but I will endeavor to get to you every week. Sooooooo lets see what we have on.

Tuesday 9th November
There is a few gigs on Tuesday but I think the best one is Prince Rama with support from Ben Butler & The Mousepad at The Nest. Expect some wierd and wonderful music but that is always loads of fun from the Paw Tracks signed band.

Wednesday 10th November
Another brilliant gig on Wed, (Is great thought was a quiet week until did this!) is Esben & the Witch at Electrowertz with support from Gallops! and Worried about Satan. What a great bill as well and Esben are certainly one of the best bands in the country.

Thursday 11 November
On Thursday there is a great gig and even better news is that I'm Djing! Its upstairs at the Garage with Crippled Black Phoenix and Anna Calvi. They were both great and there is another band playing whose name escapes me but I've heard they are ace. If you want to get in for sure then buy a ticket in advance as I've heard it's close to selling out.

Friday 12th November
I'm going to be down at The Slaughtered Lamb in Farringdon for a lovely folk night with Signe Tollefson (pictured above) and The Woodwards playing live and then off to DJ at The Lock Tavern in Camden. Should be ace the both of them.

Saturday 13th November
Think this will end up being a night in for me! Polar Bear are playing at the Westminster Reference library but that's sold out and I'm not seeing a hell of a lot of other gigs on. Sure is lots of brilliant club stuff on to keep you entertained.

Sunday 14th November
On Sunday is some biguns but goodens with Cinematic Orchestra playing at the Royal Albert Hall and Gil Scott Heron at Brixton Academy no doubt both will be brilliant!

So there you go!

Have a great week and hopefully your catch some shows.
