This month, get inspired by Bob and Roberta Smith’s exhibition Art Is Your Human Right, and explore the art of protest through punk, poetry, craft and film.

Line Up

  • Bill Drummond’s Sixty Second Clips, which explore the artist, writer and KLF founder’s views on punk, will be played throughout the evening.

  • Walthamstow based electronic duo PoP Campaign - known for their fight against the “pretentious self-importance” of the music industry - will play a politically charged DJ set covering punk, acid house and other transgressive musical movements.

  • Sarah Corbett, founder of the Craftivist Collective, will lead a hands-on Stitchable Change-Makers workshop. Be inspired to change our world one stitch at a time...

  • Author, folklorist and landscape punk David Southwell will tell stories of how Epping Forest – London’s wild shadow - has always been a place of rebellion and revolutionary imagination.

  • Performance poet Luke Wright responds to the evening’s theme with his mix of bawdy ballads and rabble-rousing verse.

  • Poet and activist Roger Huddle will introduce the evening wih poetry on the theme of Agitate.

  • A range of natural wines will available by the glass with expert advice from Vine Collective. Beer and soft drinks also available from the Gallery bar.
