The Tunnel is a collective of artists based mainly in London.

The group came together in 2014 to explore common themes regarding the meaning and purpose in art and living in an ever polarised society. Through various art forms and mediums, we express a desire to unite philosophy, technology and literature with art.

The Tunnel exhibits in unique and unlikely spaces such as the Geddess Gallery (an old Italian delicatessen) and The Asylum Chapel, a grade two listed, 190 year old church in South London. This unconventional exhibition style allows the artists to work with and manipulate the environment in which they exhibit and further their creative commentary.

The artists were delighted to have been invited by the Waterstones Gallery in Gower Street to house their latest bodies of work. New work by the Tunnel members made specifically for the space will be included. All work will be for sale as well as a collection of prints by the artists as well as the Tunnel Zine, featuring written pieces, artworks, poetry by members of the Tunnel.
