Tango! They say tango is not in the feet, but in the heart. With that spirit, step into this new weekly class (all levels) followed by a feisty Milonga dance party (till 1am)! With live music and buffet! Let’s dance! Until now, Dalston has been with out a Tango class – can you believe it? The beauty of this evening is its hostess, bringing us this traditional concept into the heart of Hackney - Lucrezia Testa Iannilli - the genuine article. She’s both a bodhrán musician and tango teacher, whose approach to the musicality and movement will be with simplicity and off course, passion.

Lucrezia has been dancing for many years in Italy, London and Paris, creating a great network of tango lovers. She moved to East London in January 2010 and discovered that Tango wasn’t being taught here. She will now be running workshops regularly at the The Old Boys Club, and collaborating with international Tango teachers and special guests, who come to East London directly from Argentina to inundate Hackney with the Milonga and its colourful vibrations!
Every Thursday you can dress up and immerse your self in a retro friendly atmosphere, feeling comfortable on your ills, drinking tea, eating pasta and tiramisu', socialising and most of all letting your self go to the sensuality of tango moves and notes.

Listen to them all, don't believe any of them
Then, when you're full and you've sifted through it all
weighed the contradictions, tested the theories
