Tilted / Maresa von Stockert: 'Glacier’ at the QEH
10 & 11 April. Emotionally charged, virtuosic and daringly physical, 7 outstanding performers dance along the edges of melting glaciers and broken-off ice floes - highly imaginative dance theatre with social comment!

Glacier is both hauntingly beautiful and disturbing, transforming the stage into a world of ice and snow where suppressed feelings break through frozen planes and icicles turn into tears. This new work is directed and choreographed by SBC Artist in Residence Maresa von Stockert. ‘A great treasure box of delights… thoroughly entertaining, thought provoking work’ (Stage on Marjorie’s World Unhinged).

Co-produced by the Mercury Theatre Colchester. Co-commissioned by Southbank Centre and DanceEast. Supported by Arts Council England, DanceWEB, LABAN and Jerwood Space. Maresa von Stockert is an Associate Artist of DanceEast.
